We’re excited to share that we’ve teamed up with the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland, Nebraska, for a solar eclipse viewing party on Saturday, October 14th.
All guests who purchase an admission ticket will receive our book-themed solar eclipse viewing glasses so they can safely witness the solar spectacle. This eclipse is an annular eclipse, where people in the "path of annularity" will be able to see a special "ring of fire". In Ashland, we will see a partial solar eclipse.
Oh, and of course, Kathleen and I will be on hand to sign our book from the museum store following a story time in the theater where you can also ask us questions about writing and illustrating a children’s picture book.
Find out more about the event on the museum website and get tickets in advance if you aren't a member here.
Hope to see you there!
